Been a minute since I’ve sat down and wrote a little update. I’m currently in the middle of working my three shifts. I went camping last week with some old coworkers and their friends. Other than being freezing cold overnight due to a lack of blankets on my part, it was really nice to get out and see all the color changing happening in Colorado finally. I took some really great photos of it all.
The last couple weeks I’ve been dating. I’ve gone out a couple times with some people I’ve found I like spending time with. It’s been a nice change of pace to have someone to talk to and to get to know. I will say there hasn’t been an overwhelming feeling of excitement or limerence with any of these women but maybe that’s a good thing for my nervous system. Just taking it all one day at a time.
Work has asked me to let them know by the end of the week if I’m extending further than the end of my contract. I think I’m pretty certain that the answer is no. I really would like to go home for December and spend some time with family, and if I extend I won’t be able to do that. As long as I’m smart with my money the next few months I should be able to make that happen.
Otherwise things have been pretty mellow. The weather is certainly changing but we have been afforded another week or so of sunshine and warm days. It’s currently 81 Fahrenheit as I sit here any type this. Which will make my days off this week really enjoyable.
And that’s really all I have to say. I’m doing my best to keep moving ahead and doing things that make me happy. Like I said in one of my last posts, it’s definitely become easier now that I’m making good money.
